Over the time we’ve been working with coffee, we’ve tried a ton of filters. These, however, definitely rank among our favorites. CAFEC T-90 won us over mainly with their fast flow rate. If you’re about to pull your hair out because your coffee takes five minutes to brew, or the flow has completely stopped, try switching to these filters – you might thank us later. Don’t be put off by the “MEDIUM DARK ROAST” label; we’ve found these filters work perfectly even with lighter filter roasts.
Compared to other filters, CAFEC T-90 have a much more textured surface on both sides – you can feel the bumps when you touch them. This structure allows the filter to catch more fine coffee particles without clogging. Water can find its way more easily, and the flow through the coffee remains smooth to the very last drop. This means that with every brew, you can count on an even extraction without any hiccups. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in taste. The result is a cup that’s more balanced and cleaner.
